Abstract: Vietnamese women’s participation in both domestic responsibilities and social activities reveals persistent gender inequality despite recent advancements. Survey data indicate that women continue to encounter significant barriers across various domains. Within the domestic sphere, women assume most household responsibilities and childcare duties, constraining their career advancement and opportunities for broader social involvement. Economically, women are predominantly concentrated in informal sectors, receiving lower wages and having limited access to financial resources. Politically, although female representation in the National Assembly has risen, a substantial gender gap remains. Policy measures are recommended to strengthen the legal framework and enhance societal awareness, aiming to support the comprehensive development of women in the context of digital transformation.
